Aptean has worked very hard to tailor the week’s activities to help maximize the fun and celebrate your achievements. However, we realize sometimes choosing your own excursion is preferred. Below outlines two separate days we have left open for you to choose your preferred adventure.

Valley of the Temples

Your adventure into antiquity starts with a brief 50-minute bus transfer from your hotel, setting the stage for an unforgettable voyage through time. Wine and Food Experience
at Planeta Winery
The story of the Planeta family and company was born in Menfi. Nestled close to the shores of Lake Arancio and adjacent to a 16th-century farmhouse held by the family for 17 generations, it's a place of warm welcomes for visitors. Here, wine enthusiasts are invited to trace the origins of their cherished Planeta wines, savoring them alongside the authentic flavors of a traditional Casa Planeta lunch. Guests are also encouraged to wander the verdant trails of the La Segreta forest or to unravel the history woven into the remnants of the ancient Phoenician Palmento, ensuring a visit that's not only about taste but also discovery and connection to the land.

Golf
Verdura Resort presents a golf experience unlike any other. Our links style courses, designed by Kyle Phillips, use the natural green contours of the landscape, and are lined with orange and olive groves. Warmed by the Mediterranean sun and refreshed by the sea breeze, the courses are free from any buildings, offering uninterrupted views of the azure waters from the undulating greens.
Home of the European Tour’s Rocco Forte Sicilian Open, Verdura provides golf on a grand scale, with the personal service and attention to detail more usually associated with a private club.
